Bringing City Standard of Education to Interior Schools for Better Job Prospects

img

World Health Partners (WHP) has won many awards for its contribution to deliver high quality healthcare to communities living in interior or poor areas. By harnessing the wide availability of cell phone and internet connectivity in these areas, WHP developed special applications that enabled city doctors to provide high quality medical consultations to patients in these communities.

WHP is currently replicating the same strategy to bring high quality teaching to children in interior areas so they acquire skills and knowledge that are at par with students attending expensive city schools. WHP’s plan is to recruit the teachers who have taught in high-end schools and connect them with students in interior schools. The teaching will be as in a class room where groups of students can see and talk to the teacher in real time through large display systems, understand concepts better with the use of teaching tools and other modern aids such as videos, graphics and pictures and participate in activities that will give them the requisite social skills for good quality jobs in a market economy.

In order to keep the costs low for these families and to ensure that the project covers a large number of students, WHP will be partnering with existing schools in the interiors instead of setting up new schools. The long-term plan is to ensure that the students benefit from various government programmes so they can complete class 12 so they can attend college or take part in many competitive exams for higher studies.

In order to conduct smooth operations in the interiors, WHP will be implementing this project in collaboration with Beaconpath Foundation, another non-profit organisation. Lookout for the Axis signage placed outside for networked schools.

WHP welcomes the opportunity to collaborate to implement this commitment.
